Minor Threats MAJOR Launch Party

We are still buzzing after the absolute blast we had hosting Patton Oswalt, Jordan Blum, and Scott Hepburn for the launch of their Minor Threats collection in an event sponsored by Revenge Of and produced by FTB.DESIGN, we were running on all cylinders.

MINOR THREATS, Big Rewards

​If you're unfamiliar, Minor Threats is a comic series described as The Watchmen meets The Boys. When the sidekick to a superhero is murdered by a B-level villain as a ploy to launch himself into the A-league, the city turns into an indiscriminate hunting ground for any and all villains, no matter how small the transgression or how ancient the past is. A rag-tag group of d-listers bands together to save their own skin, trying to track down the aspiring murderer to quench the thirst of a righteous superhero driven mad with rage.

Not only does the book SLAP, but the creators are absolutely delightful. Writers Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum attended, and artist Scott Hepburn flew in from Canada to join the celebration.

Are You Not Entertained‽ 

Following the signing, there was a raffle where some of Scott's original panels for the book were awarded to a delighted audience as well as goodie bags provided by Patton and Revenge Of.  From the raffle, Patton took the stage for a set followed by friend Ron Funches and Brian Posehn for a comedy show under the stars.

And now- BLEACHED!

Wrapping up the evening, Patton's favorite band, Bleached!  They performed such an awesome set, the neighbors posted video of it from up the hill!  Bleached's killer set ended the evening on such a high note.
